Have you previously used GovTEAMS but recently changed agencies and now require access again?

Unable to access the mobile that was used to setup MFA?

If you no longer have access to the mobile device you initially set up MFA on, you can reset your MFA by following these instructions: How Do I - Reset my MFA

If problem persists, please Contact Us to request an MFA reset.

Update or Transfer MFA (add/remove devices)

We encourage users to set up at least two different MFA methods, ideally before you switch devices. These methods can include phone calls to a mobile or fixed number, email, or hard tokens. This ensures you have an alternative method available if your primary method is inaccessible (like if you change agencies and no longer have access to a mobile device).

To add a new device:
  1. Go to your security info page and sign in with your GovTEAMS OFFICIAL account (ending in @govteams.gov.au).
  2. Select '+ Add sign-in method'.
  3. Choose the new method you want to add and follow the prompts.
To remove an old device:
  1. Ensure multiple sign-in methods are set up prior to deletion
  2. Click 'Delete' on the sign-on method or device you wish to remove
