Problems sharing files in Microsoft Teams chats or editing OneDrive files?

It's likely that you have exceeded your OneDrive quota.

If you exceed the OneDrive storage you will be unable to:

  • Share files in Microsoft Teams chats.
  • Edit OneDrive files that increase the file size.

Meeting recordings will also be automatically deleted after 20 days.

If you experience any of the following issues, it’s likely that you have exceeded your 2GB OneDrive quota:

  • You receive the following error when uploading a file to OneDrive:

Options for managing your OneDrive:

  1. Review and reduce the storage used in your OneDrive account. Before deleting files, please refer to your Agency’s Records Management policy – you may need to move them to your Agency Network before deleting from GovTEAMS.
  2. Upgrade your OneDrive storage to 1TB (1,000GB) for an additional $10 per month, billed annually in advance. If you prefer this option, contact us.
