Are you having issues registering?

This page includes some common issues and solutions to register for GovTEAMS. 

Error: You’ve already registered for GovTEAMS?

If you receive an error saying you've already registered for GovTEAMS, check your emails for an account activation email. Click on the link provided within, to activate your GovTEAMS account. 

If you don't know if you have an account or you can't find the email, please contact us. A GovTEAMS support officer will tell you how to access your account if you've registered.  

Try resetting your GovTEAMS password. You need to use your @govteams username.

Are you having issues accessing or resetting your password?

Commonwealth employee

If you're a Commonwealth Government employee and have tried resetting your password and get an error, you haven't set up your additional security verification. To resolve this you need to contact us to reset your password so you can set up your additional security verification, which is required to access GovTEAMS. 

State, local or private sector employee 

If you’re a state or local government, or private sector employee, you will be a GovTEAMS Guest.  As a Guest, GovTEAMS doesn’t own your credentials. Your password needs to be reset by your internal IT area. 

When contacting your IT area, tell them that you’re using GovTEAMS on Microsoft Office 365.   

Additional security verification (office phone)

The Office Phone option doesn’t work.
