Are you having trouble logging in?
This page provides some common issues and solutions to logging in to GovTEAMS.
Pick an account
If have multiple Microsoft accounts, you'll return to the login page when you sign in.
If this occurs, please try the following:
- Log out of all your Microsoft accounts using this link: https://login.windows.net/common/oauth2/logout
- Open a different type of browser (Chrom, Edge, Internet Explorer ect.) and try using an incognito browser.
Error: Sorry, but we're having trouble signing you in
If your account name email@example.com isn't visible in the error message, you've tried to log in using your agency email address. If you're a commonwealth employee (FAM) you were given a GovTEAMS user ID in the activation email. Please try to log in using firstname.lastname@example.org. If you still have login issues, please contact GovTEAMS Support.
Error: Your account has been locked
If you get an error saying 'Your account has been locked. Contact your support person to unlock it, then try again', contact GovTEAMS Support to unlock your account.
Error: You account or password is incorrect
If you get an error that says - your account or password is incorrect, click forgot my password.
If you can't reset your password, contact GovTEAMS Support to reset it for you.
GovTEAMS support can only reset passwords for Commonwealth Government employees. State or local government and private sector guests need to contact their internal IT support. When you contact your IT area you will need to advise them that you are using GovTEAMS on Microsoft Office 365.
