Who can register?

Commonwealth Government employees (excluding Government Business Enterprise employees) can register for a GovTEAMS account and will then become Full-access Members (Members).

If you are not a Commonwealth Government employee (e.g. State/Local Government employees), you will need to be invited to join a community as a Guest user. As a Guest, you will only have access to the community that you have been invited to join.

Getting started - registration

Before you begin the registration process, make sure you have access to your work email and phone (work or mobile device). You will need these to verify your details during the registration process.

  1. Review and accept the terms and conditions
  2. Enter your details
  3. Verify your email address
  4. Complete a multi-factor authentication process to secure your account

 

Registration will take approximately 5 minutes. You will need to complete this process in one go to successfully set up your account recovery.
